It’s our very last gig for the year! And we’ll be doing it stripped-back, raw and intimate. Don’t miss this rare chance to hear us perform our songs with little more than acoustic guitars, keys and vocal chords. We’re sure you’re going to love it.
We’re supporting the brilliant Autumn Gray who are in the midst of releasing their fantastic new album, “The Diary of a Falling Man”. Don’t miss their amazing live act self-described as a “stage mini-army”. You won’t regret hearing them play. In fact, you’ll very much enjoy it.
Also playing with us will be Grizzly Jim Lawrie. We’re told he “likes to play pretty songs for you sometimes, and enjoys it when you come and listen sometimes.” With influences as diverse as Bright Eyes, Bob Marley and Bob Dylan, he’s sure to dish up a musical treat for you.
If you’re a Facebook user you can RSVP for the event here.
What better way to celebrate the arrival of summer than to head to Revolver for Boom Pretty and Signet Mae's final headline show of 2009.
Boom Pretty have had a busy twelve months, releasing their self titled EP, spreading their live magic on many a stage around town - including a sell out launch at the Evelyn Hotel - and recently having tracks 'Winter Bend' and 'Mezzanine Maze' handpicked by Nova 100 Unsigned. Signet Mae have been revelling in their own 2009 successes, with a serious string of bold shows, highlighted by the launch of their captivating film clip 'Don't Tell' by Ged Russo in October, as well as their 'Concrete Ghosts' EP receiving international airplay over the past few months...
Also sharing the stage on the night is the highly talented Simon Paul and
Fearless Vampire Killers front man, Sean Ainsworth.
Boom Pretty and Signet Mae intend on sending their year out with a bang, so this show comes highly recommended.
